Shafqat Amanat Ali Khan's new album "Tabeer" released on 9-09-2008


Shafqat Amanat Ali Khan one of the melodious singer in Pakistani Pop Industry released his album named "Tabeer" featuring range of music from classical like Kartar, to pop songs like Naina and Pagalpan.
Based on Folk and sufi works the album "Tabeer" was commissioned and released by Music today world over mid September 2008. The album was released by Fire records in Pakistan last week of September 2008 as their Mega Eid release.

All songs except "Naina" and "Tu hi tu hai" have been composed by Shafqat. All Lyrics except original Sufi Lyrics (Ameer Khusro's Rung le and Bhulley Shah's Awo saiyo)have been written by Shafqat. The first video of the premier song of the album "Kherhyan de naal" is now being aird on all channels in India and Pakistan. The video is directed by Shiraz Bhattacharya.

My Review: Overall album is very nice and worth to buy it, specially for the people who like classical and sufi music. It' not required to explain the classical range and quality of Shafqat Amanat Ali Khan, everyone knows about it. I have no words to write about this living legend but why I am writing about her because her music is divulged in the roots of my musical mind. Shrey Singhal!!...Next Atif Aslam In Making!!

I was browsing something on youtube and found this guy Shrey Singhal randomly. When I listened this guy then I couldn't believe that this was his voice because his voice was 95% matching with Atif Aslam's voice. Although I never appreciate the copy of anything yet I liked this guy's work because he is too young and being a fan of Atif he is making his effort in his own ways. I don't have much information about him but this guy is from Faridabad city and gradually creating magical waves through his work at this young age. Every singer has some influence of  their senior singers in their singing career initially like Moh. Rafi and Mukesh used to sing like Talat Mehmood in his starting career and gradually they made their own style. Atif Aslam has a huge fan following of people in India-pak and definitely this guy could take advantage of this. Swapna Sundari….A Young South Indian Classical Music Diva

It's my privilege to write about such a wonderful and soulful artist Swapna Sundari . However I am not very regular on my blog but sometimes when you find something very unusual and unique music and musicians which directly touch your heart then you can't stop your emotions and views to express for it. Last year, I was really blessed to get in touch with great and genius musician " Pranam Kamlakar Ji" and through him only I came to know about this fairly talented artist Swapna Sundari Ji.
